Comparing the Bugatti Veyron and Porsche 911 Turbo
All over the world many people want to buy an expensive car. I will mention two different types of cars. The first one is the Bugatti Veyron and the second is the Porsche 911Turbo both
of those cars are sport cars.
This report is going to explain about two sport cars. One of those cars is the Bugatti Veyron and another one is the Porsche 911 Turbo. There are many similarities and differences between them. I will begin with similarities. The first similarity is both the Bugatti and the Porsche are super sport cars.
Each of them is a very fast car and you can take them to the race track. They are both 2 door cars and both made in Germany. They are out the price range of the normal person. In addition, they are rear-engine, and both have an all-wheel drive system and use a turbocharger system.
However, the similarities are over.
There are several differences; the first significant difference is that the base price range of the Porsche 911 is 137,360 US dollar ( Renolds, p.158 ). However, the Bugatti is very expensive at about 1.6 million US dollar ( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ). The second significant difference is the Bugatti can reach a top speed of 253 mph ( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ) but, the top speed of the Porsche is 192 mph ( Renolds, p.158 ). The third significant difference the Bugatti goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 second ( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ), and the Porsche goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds ( Renolds, p.158 ).
In addition, the Bugatti has quad-turbocharged ( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ), while the Porsche his twin-turbocharged ( Renolds, p.158 ). The Bugatti is much heavier at about 5,000 pounds
( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ), compared to the Porsche is 3,750 pounds ( Renolds, p.158 ).Finally the Bugatti produces 1001 horse power and 922 p/ft of torque ( Schwartzapfel, p.82 ), but the Porsche has 480 horse power and 457 p/ft of torque ( Renolds, p.158 ).
In my point of my view the Bugatti is the fastest car in the world. However, I would choose instead of the Bugatti the Porsche 911 Turbo cars because they are affordable and easy to maintain. I don't think that I can drive the Bugatti in the street and where could I reach top speed ?
